If it’s the first time you’re joining a Cabana group or if you’re joining from a new device, then you will need to ensure your browser has microphone permissions. If it does not have permission, then you will join the group as “Chat Only”. See this article for more information about “Chat Only”.
Follow these steps accordingly to troubleshoot microphone issues:
1) Make sure your microphone is unmuted. An unmuted mic looks like this:
2) Click on the three-dot menu in the bottom right of your screen to pull up your Settings. Ensure mic permissions are allowed and the correct microphone is selected (especially if you were using AirPods or another video app recently).
3) If that doesn’t work, refresh your browser. Please be using Chrome.
4) Close your browser completely. Then open a new browser window and rejoin the group.
