Introduction and MHM Attribution by Activity

Cabana designed a metric, Mental Health Minutes (MHM) to help our users and the partners who sponsor Cabana for them understand overall utilization of the Cabana Live product while preserving our promise for user privacy.

MHM is calculated based on the activities that a user completes in our Cabana Live app, and MHM are assigned based on the below policies.

How Mental Health Minutes (MHM) Are Calculated

In Cabana 3.0, Mental Health Minutes (MHM) are calculated based on the actual time you spend on an activity. Watching 10 minutes of a video earns 10 MHM. Attending a live session for 30 minutes earns 30 MHM; attending for 5 minutes earns 5 MHM.

This applies to all activities, including reading content and attending live sessions. Some content has a maximum MHM limit to prevent unlimited accumulation. For example, an article capped at 10 MHM earns credit for time spent reading, up to 10 minutes. These limits vary by content.
